On October 2nd, five Danish and Swedish companies integrating “Business & Science Mission of Danish and Swedish Health Sector to Portugal” visited our facilities to learn more about iBET and GenIbet.
The aim of this mission is the establishment of new business and scientific partnerships between Health Sector Danish/Swedish companies and Portuguese R&D institutions, interface centres, clinical academic centres, contract research organizations (CRO) and contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMO) – including R&D services and clinical trials.
The mission is focused on Pharma & Biotech, particularly on the areas of neurosciences, oncology, and metabolic diseases.
This visit, co-organized by The Portuguese Trade & Investment Agency and Health Cluster Portugal, included a welcome session by Paula Alves (iBET CEO), Manuel Carrondo (iBET Vice-President) and Raquel Fortunato (GenIbet CEO) and discussion of possible future partnerships. In the end, the companies’ representatives visited GenIbet and iBET Laboratories including the recently rebuild Late Stage R&D and Bioproduction Unit.
