Mónica Thomaz is a Senior Bioprocess Engineer at iBET, responsible for the Downstream Processing at the Late Stage R&D and Bioproduction Unit of iBET.
Mónica Thomaz is graduated in Chemical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, UTL (Technical University of Lisbon).
The area of expertise has been the development, optimization and scale up of production processes of biological products, in bacteria, yeast, animal and insect cell cultures. For the past 25 years, Mónica was the project manager of several R&D projects and production of antibodies and recombinant proteins for several pharmaceutical companies.
